Monthly Moods at First Mile Kitchen

Each month at First Mile Kitchen, they pair a record with wine, and to celebrate, throw a dinner party called Monthly Moods.

On Wednesday, April 30th at 6 PM enjoy Louis Armstrong and New Orleans Fare. Tickets are $75 per person, $45 option wine pairing, cocktails a la carte.

Behind the dinner with Chef Nick:

“New Orleans and its cuisine have such a rich history that it was hard to find direction in this dinner. I took inspiration from the sense of longing that exists across the tunes, the frenetic energy, the grungy red light sludge that is Louis’ voice, and most of all the imagined midnight debauchery, sweat-stained hoodoo, and survivalist mystery of this city in the early part of the 20th century. So, long story long. We have a melting pot of ideas that touch on Nola’s famous restaurants, cajun vs. creole preparations, and other classic dishes from New Orleans.”

BLACK AND BLUE
BLACKENED BEEF TENDERLOIN, POMMES ALIGOT, OLD NED, AND THE HOLY TRINITY
