Teens 5-Day Summer Series: The Pastry Showcase at Sur La Table

Sur La Table turns summer afternoons into a serious pastry education for teens ages 12–17. Five days, one professional chef instructor, and a week-long deep dive into the techniques that define French baking.

Each day builds on the last:

Days 1 & 2: Patisserie Foundations — Teens tackle pâte à choux, pastry cream, tart dough, tomato and cheese galette, and a full fruit tart across two days of foundational technique.

Day 3: Rise, Proof & Bake — Soda bread, ciabatta, cinnamon roll focaccia, and homemade butter round out the bread-baking fundamentals.

Days 4 & 5: The Pastry Showcase — The week builds to its grand finale: corn elote croissants, crème brûlée croissants, strawberry matcha croissants, and a create-your-own spice blend morning bun.
