Where there used to be one, now there are six. GreenAcres Market, a Midwestern chain of health food stores started by Barb Hoffmann and her family in 1994, got its start in Wichita, Kansas’ largest city, and has spread through the years to Missouri and Oklahoma. It’s not stopped growing yet!
The flagship store in Bradley Fair features an all-organic and local-produce salad bar, made-from-scratch hot case and deli menu, gluten-free, vegan, and RAW dessert case, smoothie bar, and more. Test marketing on customers has brought some winners to the daily menu including regular and gluten-free potpies, crunchy kale salad, cold berry soup, and raw chocolate peanut butter cheesecake.
