Honoring Black History Month in our Little Free Library
Thu, February 1 - Thu, February 29
February is Black History Month. Stop by our Little Free Library this month to discover the stories of Black individuals and communities and celebrate their trailblazing contributions. Connect, explore, and learn by picking up a new book, or contributing a new one for our community to enjoy. We will be stocking our library all month long with beautiful stories by Black authors, so be sure to keep coming by and explore titles like:
- The ABC’s of Black History by Rio Cortez & illustrated by Lauren Semmer
- Still Rising by Janet Bell
- The Three Mothers by Anna Malaika Tubbs
- Little Leaders: Bold Women in Black History by Vashti Harrison
- Little Legends: Exceptional Men in Black History, Vashti Harrison
- Dream Big, Little One, Vashti Harrison
- The World Belonged to Us by Jacqueline Woodson & illustrated by Leo Espinosa
- The Black Joy Project by Kleaver Cruz
The Little Free Library is located in front of W1857, near HomeGrown. If you can’t find the book you’re looking for, visit our friends across the parking lot at Barnes & Noble!
