Grady Nichols

From small town Midwest beginnings to an internationally known saxophonist, Grady Nichols enjoys an audience as broad as his musical taste. Enjoying critical acclaim for his recent CD, Take Me with You, Nichols has enjoyed great success in the smooth jazz genre. His goal on his latest recording was to showcase his broad range of musical influences and tastes, while creating an edgier sound. The result of this album is a sound thaat is fresh, unique and embraceable by anyone who likes a great beat with a memorable melody. Joyce Cooling

Teaching herself to play guitar by ear, Joyce Cooling developed a personal style of
finger-picking that has given her playing its unique sound and feel. This award winning
San Francisco-based guitarist shows off her renowned fluid, swinging, bluesy-jazz
technique on each of her seven recorded albums. Cooling has thrilled audiences
around the world garnering critical praise and a bevy of industry awards along the way,
including the Gibson Guitar Award for Best Jazz Guitarist of the Year. Cooling provides
contemporary jazz that is accessible and groove-oriented, but full of substance and
creativity - a characteristic that has become a trademark for her imaginative compositions.

Blue Eyed Soul

Blue Eyed Soul is a Wichita-based band with a unique blend of talented, professional musicians who love to perform as much as the audience loves to experience the performance. The band’s specialty is playing a variety of styles that all ages can enjoy, earning them a strong following of listeners, movers and shakers. This talented group of eight musicians consistently brings the house down while the audience sings along, dances or just jams to the great sound. Band members bring the training of their vocations as professional music teachers and theater music directors to their high energy, get-up-and-dance delivery. Mingo Fishtrap

With a sound that dances between jazz, soul and horn-fueled rhythm & blues, this eight-piece ensemble is an anomaly in the contemporary music scene. With each of their four albums, the Austin, Texas group gravitates closer to the classic sounds that inspired their musical roots. The group’s musical cohesion traces its beginnings to the mid 90’s when six of the group’s members were attending the University of North Texas’ Jazz Studies program. Originally derived as a loose jam, the burgeoning group covered songs from soul masters Otis Redding, Tower of Power and the Neville Brothers. People started listening and the ball started rolling. Joseph Vincelli
Celebrate America Fireworks Following Concert

Joseph Vincelli's signature is his passion towards his music. As a native of New Jersey, it was during his studies in Boston at the prestigious Berklee College of Music that he learned a deep appreciation for the art of improvisation. Vincelli’s ability to create music from an array of sources sets him apart from other smooth jazz artists. Vincelli has recorded ten albums in a seven-year period, including seven smooth jazz, one classic jazz and two Christmas albums. On each of these recordings, his high energy reverberates with every note. Vincelli’s diversity with the art of music has brought him the honor of the Scott Joplin Award for achievement and the 2000 Hall of Fame winner at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Festival.
