GAP REMODEL IN BRADLEY FAIR WILL CONSOLIDATE BRANDS

(WICHITA, KS) - Laham Development has announced that Gap has begun a complete remodel of their Gap, GapBody store in the Wichita lifestyle center, Bradley Fair. The remodel of the 12,000 square foot store will feature the newest Gap store design and allow consolidation of all Gap brands into one location by November 2009. During the remodel, Gap, GapBody will temporarily move into the GapKids, babyGap store, located next to Bradley Fair Plaza. Once the remodel is completed, all Gap brands will be consolidated into the remodeled location, creating an increased level of shopping convenience. The announcement was made by Cathy Erickson, vice-president of Laham Development.

The Bradley Fair Gap opened in 1994, bringing the first Gap store to Wichita. Gap Inc. is a leading global specialty retailer offering clothing, accessories and personal care products for men, women, children and babies. Gap brand includes Gap, GapKids, babyGap and GapBody, all of which are located in Bradley Fair. The first Gap opened in San Francisco in 1969 and today, Gap Inc. is one of the world's largest specialty retailers, with more than 3,100 stores. The Bradley Fair store is the only location in Wichita.

"The decision to remodel the store was made with the customers in mind," said Erickson. "The new store layout will create a complete Gap product experience in one location, where the Gap customer will be able to shop for themselves and their children in the same store."

Gap, Inc. is a leader in environmental and social responsibility. Most of Gap clothes are made of cotton, a crop that can have significant environmental impact. Recognizing this, Gap joined the Better Cotton Initiative in 2005. This initiative is a collaborative effort started by the World Wildlife Fund that promotes environmentally, socially and economically sustainable cotton cultivation practices globally. In addition to exploring environmentally sustainable elements in product design, Gap searches for ways to innovate in packaging and store fixtures.

Bradley Fair has recently announced three new additions to the lifestyle center. Francesca's Collections, a boutique specializing in women's clothing, jewelry, and gifts recently opened. Il Vicino restaurant featuring authentic, wood-oven pizza, sandwiches and salads will open later this month. The restaurant will include an outdoor dining patio, with fireplace, to compliment the casual Italian ambiance of the interior design. The third store, Cocoa Dolce Artisan Chocolates, is slated for early September 2009. Creating specialty chocolates, without preservatives of any kind, Cocoa Dolce practices the fine art tradition of European chocolate making. The Bradley Fair location will allow the company to enhance their Chocolate Lounge concept where people can sample chocolates, paired with wine, specialty drinks and gelato.

Bradley Fair offers a scenic open-air Plaza area, overlooking Bradley Fair Lake, where outdoor summer concerts are held. Bradley Fair recently completed its 10th year of providing free summer concerts to the community.
