- Joseph Vincelli

June 4
7:30-9:30 pm

Joseph Vincelli, a Bradley Fair favorite, returns by popular demand. Vincelli, a native of New Jersey, has a sincere passion towards music. It was during his studies in Boston at prestigious Berklee College of Music that he learned a deep appreciation for the art of improvisation. Vincelli’s ability to create music from an array of sources sets him apart from other smooth jazz artists. Vincelli has recorded fifteen CDs and a DVD over the last eighteen yeas. His newest CD, Meritage, is a flute CD that fans requested he record. Proceeds from the sale of Meritage go to The Artist Outreach, Vincelli’s art-based educational workshop program.

Vincelli’s diversity with the art of music has brought him the honor of the Scott Joplin Award for achievement. He was also named to the 2000 Hall of Fame at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Festival. For more information, visit josephvincelli.com

Thursday Summer Concerts on Bradley Fair Plaza

- Generation NeXt

June 11
7:30-9:30 pm

With successful outings at some of the country's premiere festivals including Berks, Seabreeze, Capital Jazz, Newport Beach, Norfolk and Catalina Island Jazztrax, Generation NeXt is ushering in a new dimension of smooth jazz and R&B grooves. These world class musicians and rising stars are at the cutting edge of contemporary jazz with R&B soul influences.

Soul-jazz trumpeter, Lin Rountree's playing is best described as soulful and funky. He began playing the trumpet when he was only 11 and gained international attention after appearing in the Whitney Houston hit film Sparkle in 2012. His fifth studio CD, aptly named Soulfunky, is a 12 song, self-produced collection featuring some of the hottest musicians and producers in the business.

According to saxophonist, Lebron Dennis, it’s all about that sound. Lebron plays in a way that closely mimics the human voice, leading his listeners to say they can hear him singing through his horn. His emotional performances leave his audiences feeling exactly what he wants them to feel. Lebron’s much anticipated sophomore album will be released this July.

The 21- year old keyboard phenomenon Nicholas Cole displays the technical proficiency and artistic vision of those twice his age. Cole’s CD Endless Possibilities contained four Top 10 Billboard singles, including the hit, “Snap”, featuring Vincent Ingala, which was a Top 5 Billboard smash. In addition to a thriving solo career, Nicholas has become an in-demand producer and collaborator, working with Ben Tankard, Willie Bradley and Julian Vaughn among others. Thursday Summer Concerts on Bradley Fair Plaza

- Jeff Kashiwa

June 25
7:30-9:30 pm

Seattle native, Jeff Kashiwa knew he was destined to be a musician following his junior high introduction to woodwinds. His instincts were correct as he became known as one of the most compelling young saxophonists in contemporary jazz during his first year with The Rippingtons. Kashiwa performed hundreds of shows all over the world and appeared on many of the band’s classic recordings.

Having established himself in the 1990's as one of the most diverse saxmen in contemporary jazz during his tenure with The Rippingtons, Kashiwa’s instincts led him to more dynamic endeavors through his solo career. Kashiwa now has nine CDs released under his own name and has continued to record as a guest artist with many other artists as well. In 2004, Kashiwa founded The Sax Pack, a trio of saxophone headliners, featuring himself, Steve Cole and Kim Waters. The group released two CDs together and charmed audiences with their Rat Pack style reparte' in tours across the U.S. and abroad.  Kashiwa has expanded his career to include the realm of music education, teaching various courses through the music program at Shoreline Community College in Seattle. For more information, visit jeffkashiwa.com
